DelaFoto's "Canine Colorado" magazine is hitting a major milestone, celebrating its 5th anniversary – a remarkable achievement that's got everyone wagging with excitement. Yet, this year, they're shaking things up by shining the spotlight not just on our loyal dog friends but on our feline companions as well. Enter the debut of "Feline Colorado" magazine, a vibrant celebration of all things cat, brimming with stunning portraits and heartwarming tales, all in support of the phenomenal work done by The Feline Fix.
On a beautiful April 3rd morning, The Feline Fix rolled out the red carpet for us at their annual ‘Friends of The Fix” Breakfast and Kitten Shower. With kitten season upon us, it was the perfect timing for The Feline Fix to unfold their story and mission. The event offered a delectable breakfast, the chance to cuddle with sweet foster kittens, and the opportunity to hear uplifting stories about how The Feline Fix volunteers have made significant impacts on the lives of numerous cats and their delighted adopters. The transformation story of Sage, a kitten who overcame her fear of humans thanks to the gentle companionship of the foster family’s cat, ending in her adoption into a forever home, was especially touching.
The Feline Fix is dedicated to four key areas: providing affordable spaying and neutering services, offering low-cost vet care to underserved pet owners, running a kitten foster and adoption program, and their pivotal Trap-Neuter-Return Program. Their tireless efforts for Denver's cat population, coupled with their reliance on the generosity of volunteers and donors, inspired DelaFoto to collaborate on the inaugural issue of the Feline Colorado magazine. For a session fee of $150, fully benefiting The Feline Fix, cat owners have the unique opportunity to capture their pet's personality in a professional portrait session, with the highlight being a full-page feature in the magazine. DelaFoto is on the lookout for 50 to 100 photogenic cats to grace the pages of Feline Colorado. Is your cat ready to be the star of the show?
