Celebrating Pet Moms!

The companionship and love of my pets that include my dogs and my backyard flock of chickens & ducks. Not only do they give us so much, but they provide the chance for us to live out our nurturing instincts and see the world from their simpler, innocent perspective.

Within the world of pet moms, I’ve seen the correlation between women who are amazing pet moms and generous of heart in the world at large. I’ve chosen to celebrate these women, particularly those within my age group (over 40 years old). They have impressive life experience to share and have given so much for their pets. Their kindness and generosity doesn’t stop at their pets, they are often rescuers, human caregivers, business owners and much more -inspiring to say the least.

These women were celebrated through portraiture, stories and community at DelaFoto. Our 40 Over 40 Pet Mom campaign, shined the spot light on them and their pets in a way they had never experienced before. In our premier campaign, I was one of the forty Pet Moms included and it has been a chance to be seen, acknowledged, understood and welcomed into a wonderful community women. Friendships and business connections were made, and enthusiasm for continuing in this pet mom mission.

I’m excited to share that we are hosting another round of 40 Over 40 Pet moms, to take what we learned and expand upon it. We can’t wait to meet and learn about more of these impressive women!
