DELAFOTO’s digital paintings

For a little over a year now, I have offered the option for my clients to have my photography enhanced as Digital Paintings. Since it’s all done on the computer, I can provide a great level of control over the process.

Once an image has been selected from the cinematic presentation meeting, we can discuss a wide range of potential edits to further customize a portrait. That may include modifying the pose, subject wardrobe (for family portraits), set/background color or more. If none of those edits are requested, it may be as simple as just adding the painterly brushstrokes.

Either way, the client gets a final piece of artwork that is truly unique and timeless. With an digital review process, we avoid communication errors and I can provide an accurate pre-view that eases the process along. Clients can also digitally view their new painting with my custom frame options to eliminate that guesswork! Once everything is approved, the new painting is professionally printed, mounted on to hand-stretched cotton canvas, and brushed with protective lacquer making it not only distinctly beautiful, but durable.

I love the whole process, especially the look on my clients’ faces when I deliver and hang their new artwork on their wall!
